8/6/17 Lough Currane on the wild side again with a strong wind from the West, wild West or not, all reels were firing as my noble anglers procured a couple of Salmon Grilse, so straight to the action, French angler Mr. Pierre Loyer while fishing with is Gillie, caught a fine 4 lbs. Grilse on the troll. Staying in the trolling department, US angler Mr. Logan Ratzlaff from Virginia, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of
www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught a fine 5 lbs. Salmon Grilse. All in all considering the rough conditions the Currane anglers did well. Wind West fresh to strong with heavy down pours and I mean heavy. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 9.3 mm. Maximum air temperature 14.5 c and just for the record the amount of rainfall so far this month is
49.2mm.
