Dave Eccelstone
Dominic Mcgillicddy and Peter Glover
My Noble Salmon take the head lines, first in striking zone, were 2 Guests, they caught a fine Grilse on the fly and finished their day off with a Sea Trout also caught on the fly, while fishing with their Gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Jnr. Staying in the fly department, Mr. Peter Glover of the UK was in great form again with 3 Grilse to his fly rod, and in the words of his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of it was hard work out there, it was six hours before Peter got his first salmon of the day, all I can say is, worth waiting for. Now to the Sea Trout department, Mr. Dave Eccelstone of the UK and Waterville, caught 2 Sea Trout, ranging from 1 ¾ lbs. up to 5 lbs. Also in good form was local Gillie Mr. John Murphy, who caught 2 Sea Trout ranging from 2 lbs up to 4 lbs.Wind all over the place this morning and eventually went in to the SW light and overcast with light misty rain throughout the day.
