I start today’s notes, with the sad news that renowned Gillie Mr. Donal Dwyer of  Beenbane   Waterville, past away after a long illness, and on behalf of all the anglers and the people of Waterville and Caherdaniel, I would like send our condolences to his family and especially his Son, local Gillie Mr. Mike Dwyer, who is in hospital himself. For the rest of today’s facts I will update tomorrow and for good reason, today is Donal’s Day. Well Donal you may be gone but you will never be forgotten.
