Mr. Michael Rieger

There was some good action today after the flood, so lets get to the action, in the fly department, Dutch anglers Mr. William Timmermans and his good friend caught 2 Grilse on the fly. Now to the trolling department, Mr. Michael Rieger 0f Germany caught 2 Grilse on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com and also in good form was local Angler Mr. Brod O’Sullivan with one Grilse caught on the troll. In the Sea Trout department there were a few caught but nothing that would hit the world wide web. Now we head down stream to the famous Butler Pool and of www.watervillegolflinks.ie  a Guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Junior Scully caught a fine Grilse and there were a few fish contacted but alas they live to fight another day. Wind SW light with bright sunshine. Amount of rainfall yesterday 20 mm.
