 16/8/2024. We start today’s proceedings in the backdate department, yesterday, Currane fly angler while fishing on the drift caught a fine Salmon, sadly lost a bigger fish shortly afterwards. Now back to the present and straight out onto Lough Currane, just the odd Brown trout caught on the drift to report. Now the Inny Farmer takes to the stage with his report. Hi Vince, just one Salmon to report and believe it or not he lost it, I can tell you he was one unhappy angler, I said to him, so what it’s all catch and release anyway, he replied that’s not the point, all I can say Vince there’s no pleasing you anglers.
