20/8/2024. Straight
to the action on the Commeragh River and you can say it was a case of the early
birds that caught their worms, it didn’t take long before they caught a number
of Salmon and Sea Trout, staying on the Commeragh there were two Salmon caught
yesterday. Now we head down stream to Lough Currane and it was rough out there,
one boat did venture out but as the wind increased, they came in early. Now we
cut across the Vally to the C&R Inny farmers report. Hi Vince, just two
Salmon caught on the fly today. Wind WNW fresh to strong, followed by reasonable
cloud cover and heavy showers at times. Yesterday’s weather, amount of rainfall
16.5mm, amount of sunshine 1hrs.3mins, maximum air temperature 18.1°c.
