Enrico
29/4/16 My Noble Anglers showed how it should be done today, it’s a pity the paparazzi can’t say the same but that’s another story. So lets get straight to the fly action and catch of the day, Mr. Enrico Fantasia of Dublin and fishing out of www.curranelodge.ie caught a cracker of a 10 lbs. Salmon on the fly. While fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com Staying with the fly, UK angler Mr. John Fish, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan of www.vincentsfishing.com caught a fine 13 lbs. Salmon. Now to the C&R trolling department, Mr. Andy Wishart of Northern Ireland, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com caught and released a fine 7lbs. Salmon. Now we head downstream to the famous Butler Pool at www.watervillegolflinks.ie  Last night the Fly man of www.fishingwithdom.com gave a Fly Mans flie to Waterville pro Golfer, Mr. Liam Higgins, which he gladly excepted and within a few casts Liam caught the first Grilse of 2016. Wind NE light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover at times.

28/4/16

28/4/16 The anglers presentation of flie and lure was an utter disgrace in the eyes of the Wild Atlantic Salmon and Sea Trout, as my Noble Anglers failed miserably in their duties to procure a Lough Currane Game Fish. Wind  NW fresh with reasonable cloud cover.

27/4/16

Mr. Paul Tatner
27/4/16 It was  bitterly cold day on Lough Currane today, but this didn’t deter Scottish Angler, Mr. Paul Tatner from venturing out on Waterville Lake, with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com as Tom trolled over to the South side and headed for Edery Bay, the next thing their rod went off and all hell broke out, by all accounts Paul had one hell of a battle which he won, his Salmon weighing in at 7 ½ lbs
. Wind NE light with the odd April shower.

A clear night over Europe, c/o Tim Peake @ The International Space Station
26/4/16 Well today my Noble Anglers failed miserably in their duties in all departments and in the words of Local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com there was a cold NE wind blowing and no good, so all I can say is the least said the soonest mended.

Salmon on the troll while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com and for the rest of the angling community they failed miserably in their duties in all departments.
