Mr.Tom Nugent and Mr.Tommy Duggan
There was a light to fresh NNE wind, but at least some boats did see some action, in the Salmon department all the honours go to Mr. Tommy Duggan and his Grandson Mr. Tom Nugent and for good reason Tommy caught a fine Salmon on the troll first thing this morning and his
Grandson Tom, finished the day off perfectly with a Salmon on the fly in Copal on the South side, fishing with their Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of now we head for the Sea trout department, Mr. John Nolan of Dublin fishing with his Gillie Mr. John Young, and fishing out of caught a nice 2.5lbs Sea Trout on the drift on a Clan chief and staying with the Sea Trout a Dutch Party caught a 2lbs Sea trout on the fly fishing with their Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of Now to the C&R department and catch of the day and that goes to Mr. Clive McDonald of the UK who caught a specimen Sea Trout of 6.5lbs which Clive sportingly put back, Clive was fishing in a hired out boat from  Wind as already stated with light showers at times.
