7/7/19 All Salmon News comes from local Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com who reported that he did see one Currane Angler fishing on his own, catch one Salmon on the troll and for the rest of the Currane Anglers it was all quiet on all fronts. Wind WNW light variable with reasonable cloud cover and very warm. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 17.c

5/7/19 Currane Angler, Mr. Murray T Beatts of Tampa Florida and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com  takes all the Salmon headlines and for good reason, on his last day of manipulating on the Currane waters he caught a cracker of an 8 lbs. Salmon on the troll and for the rest of the Currane Anglers all their news was slack lines. Wind NW light to fresh and bright sunshine all day. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 18.8 c.

4/7/19 Bright sunshine was the order of the day and the wind was all over the place, so you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know all the odds were against the Currane Anglers from procuring a Salmon, well think again because local Currane Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley defied the odds and caught and released a fine 4 lbs. Grilse while trolling between Major’s point and the Sound. Just for the record it was brought to my attention this evening that a fine Salmon was caught in the past few days. Wind as all ready stated. Yesterdays weather maximum air temperature 19. 0 c.

3/7/19 All the Salmon and C&R ST index come from the North Shore, Currane Angler Mr. Murray T Beatts of Tampa Florida, USA and Cahersiveen, Co Kerry and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com Caught two fine Grilse, Murray’s first Salmon was caught on the troll, weighing in at 4 lbs. Topped that with a fine C&R 3 lbs. Sea Trout, as you can see by the pictures but that wasn’t the end of his tail because Murray finished his day with a fine 6 lbs. Salmon on the fly and considering the height of the Lake plus the sun blazing down with the wind in the NE and when it veered SW and then the action started. For the rest of the Currane Angling News it was all quiet on all fronts but Murray would beg to differ. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.8 c.

2/7/19 Currane Angler Mr. Murray T Beatts of Tampa Florida, USA and Cahersiveen, Co Kerry and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com caught a fine 5 ½ lbs. Salmon on the troll and finished his day off with a C&R 1 ½ lbs. Sea Trout and staying with Murray, we go to the artistry department and for good reason, his partner Joan Wuischpard painted a picturesque painting of the Bungalow on her last trip in 2016, all I can say is worth waiting for as you can see for yourself. For the rest of the Currane angling news it was all quiet on all fronts. Wind ENE light with reasonable cloud cover at times. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16. 4 c.

1/7/19 Straight to the Sea Trout Department, C&R Currane fly angler Mr. Ronan Grady, caught a fine 3 lbs Sea Trout on the drift. For the rest of the Currane angling News it was all quiet on all fronts. Wind NE veered NW light to fresh. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.5 c.
