8/8/2023 The Currane anglers were all quiet this day as were the White-Tailed Eagles as you can see them resting on the Eastern End of the lake, photo taken by Eagle Eye. Wind light to calm E veered SW.

 7/8/2023 All The Currane anglers were all quiet in all departments this Bank Holiday Monday. Wind light SSW veered SE late this afternoon.

6/8/2023 The Currane anglers were all quiet this day, reports local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com with just four boats out on this Bank Holiday weekend, now quote of the day goes to Mr Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com I text Neil were you out, Neil replied A day of rest. Wind NNW and veered NW light and bright.

 5/8/2023 Currane fly angler Mr. John Burton of Co. Clare, C&R a fine 2 lbs. Sea Trout while fly fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com and for the rest of the Currane anglers they were all quiet or were they? or did they have their Inny C&R hats on? As promised on the rainfall yesterday there wasn’t a great amount but just for the record there was 14.8 mm recorded, as I always say, one has to consider the amount of mountainous rainfall which isn’t recorded. I will let you anglers spin that one for yourselves. Wind NNW fresh followed by a few showers.

4/7/2023 UK Currane angler Mr. Keith Francis from the UK while fly fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea at www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught 3 Sea Trout up to 2lbs all caught on the drift. Wind was all over the place from NW to the South and veered back into the SW. Wind directions were from 9am to 5pm. And overcast amount of rainfall will be in tomorrow night’s notes.

2/8/2023 Local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com reports that the Waterville Fishery had a good flood late last night and early this morning, on the C&R river Inny sadly I have no reports from the Inny Farmer and for good reason, I was talking to the Inny Farmer in Killarney late this morning and his quote of the day, you will have no reports from the Inny Farmer in tonight’s report. So back to Lough Currane, it was all quiet on the SW front. Wind NNW light to fresh and overcast followed by showers.
