Mr. Ivor O'Connor
Mr. Liam Musgrave
Mr. Ivor O’Connor of www.ivorsfood.com  is the King of The Waterville Fishery today and with good reason, first thing this morning on the Commeragh River, he caught a fine specimen Sea Trout of 6 lbs. 10 ozs on the spin and broke his spinning while playing my noble Sea Trout, not satisfied with the Commeragh, he cut across the Valley to the river Inny, and within minutes caught himself a fine 4 lbs. Grilse on the fly, which he sportingly returned. Staying with the Inny, another Cahersiveen angler, Mr. Liam Musgrave caught a good Salmon in the 8 lbs class also caught on the spin. I asked Liam where did he catch his fish? He swiftly replied on the River Inny, need I say more, Liam Didn’t. Now to Lough Curran and fly and C&R department, Mr. Drew Brown fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestly, caught 3 Sea Trout and finished their day off with a fine Grilse. Staying with the C&R department, Mr. Mark Knowles of the UK, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com caught a 5 lbs Grilse and 2 Sea Trout both in the 2 lbs class. Also in good form was Mr. kenneth Duke, who caught 4 Sea trout, ranging from juniors up to 4lbs.
