Mr. Joe Simpson

1/10/14 Lough Curran was on the quiet side with just 2 Juniors caught by Kevin and Senan Lavery, while fishing with their Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of As you all know its a year to the day when Mr. Paul Lawton of Cork caught and released that magnificent Sea Trout, and was ably assisted by Mr. Liam Ellis of Waterville and their cameraman was Mr. Peter Muldoon of Co. Cork, but sadly they have failed miserably in their duties to procure the same results this day and I have to say its back to the drawing board in all departments i.e. Gillie, fly man and cameraman, on that note we head for the poaching department of and the higher Lakes and Lough Namona, Regular visitor Joe Simpson caught a fine brown trout on Lough Namona today!  Just for the record you can fish the upper lakes until the end of the season and remember its fly only Wind west light with reasonable cloud cover.
