1/2/15 The first day of spring on the Waterville Fishery, didn’t procure my Noble Salmon. There was no wind what so ever and what wind was there was coming from the wrong direction if you get my drift, so on that note we will go back to last night to the Waterville Inn and the end of the Shooting season and their  Dinner and dance party and the presenting of the Euge Haze Memorial Cup for the best Shot and the downing of the biggest Cock Pheasant on the opening day of the 14/15 season and that goes to Waterville’s Professional Golfer Mr. Brian Higgins, as you can see by the photo he holds the Cup with pride and what made this extra special, Brian was a great friend of the late Euge Haze, who was a great shot and guide and a fantastic character himself. As you can see by the photos there was a great night had by all and on behalf of all the shooters and none shooters alike I would like to thank the Landlord of the Waterville Inn, Mr. Damian Duff and his good Wife Sally for a fantastic evening and a special mention for their great Staff.
