Worth waiting for
14/8/17 Straight to the Sea Trout fly department, Kildare angler, Mr. Gerald Ford, caught and released two Sea Trout, ranging from 1 ½ up to 2 lbs. All while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Now we head up the Commeragh River and the upper Lakes and Lough Na Huisce / Iskanamacteery and catch of the day, plus a bit of Lough Na Huisce History which was made today and has taken 50 years to register another fine Specimen Sea Trout and that Honour goes to  Cork angler Mr. Brian Clancy, while fly-fishing from the shoreline, caught himself a cracker of a 7 lbs. 2 ozs Specimen Sea trout, caught on a size 8 Invicta. Wind NW light and sunny all day. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 4.8mm. Maximum air temperature 15.7c.
