A wild Salmon had a French Connection! |
16/8/17 All the Salmon headlines come from the South side and at
www.lakelandshouse.com French Angler, while fishing with his gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of
www.lakelandshouse.com caught a fine 8 lbs. Salmon on the troll and considering the wild conditions they did well, with raging flood coming down the Commeragh and down the Copal River. On the Sea Trout front a client fishing with his gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of
www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught and released two Juniors on the drift. Wind SW strong with heavy cloud and heavy rainfall on the surrounding mountains and very little on Lough Currane itself. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 1.4 mm. Maximum air temperature 17.7c.
