18/1/19 A few boats were out manipulating their lures and flies and with a nice SW wind blowing then veered NW later in the afternoon, its not surprising that one boat was casting their flies into renowned Currane Salmon lies, but sadly there was no response from the Currane Wild Atlantic Salmon, be it on flies or lures. Wind as already stated with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, Valentia recorded 14.6 mm of rainfall.
