Breaking news on the salmon front, Local Angler Mr. Noel Clancy and party caught 3 salmon on the fly this evening on Lough Currane, as you can see by the picture the conditions were ideal for a spot of fly fishing.
Y15/4/19 Talk of contrasts, yesterday we were praising the good fishing and today it was a complete blow out with storm force winds from the SE and followed by heavy rain and it made a good flood. Just for the record I believe one boat did venture out and in the words of one Currane Angler and I quote, Mad! That sums up today’s manipulations. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 2.0 mm. Maximum air temperature 11.7 .
