15/8/19

15/8/19 A few of the Lough Currane Anglers were all quiet on all fronts on Lough Currane today, so on that note we head for River Inny, all I can say is that the converted Inny anglers are still on a high and still enjoying their silent Move. In yesterdays notes I reported that a few Salmon were caught on the World Famous Butler Pool and at www.watervillegolflinks.ie but I didn’t  give you all the facts, so lets put the record straight. Monday 12th August Carl Purcell, Florida, with his son Preston, while fly fishing for the first time caught his first salmon of 5 pounds and hooked two more, released total of 2 fish while Fishing with their Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com Tuesday 13th local Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan and at watervilleboats@gmail.com  caught one Salmon of 5 ½ lbs and Michael’s client Mr. Paul Amos caught and released 2 Salmon. Today’s wind SW light to fresh and overcast and very warm up to 20 c. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 18.3 c.
