Vincent, Tam and a very proud Granddaughter
30/4/21
Lough Currane may be low, but the good news is that Local Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan
and his Son in law Tam were on a high and for good reason, while trolling
caught a cracker of a Salmon in the 10 lbs class and I can say Tam and Vincent were
the talk of the Salmon community, so congratulations Vincent and Tam and fair
play to you Vincent you haven’t lost the art in catching my Noble Salmon in
virtually hopeless conditions. Now to the email department that was sent to me this
evening and I quote so take it away Martin.
Hi Vincent
great to see another Currane salmon caught today, well done tam and Vincent,
but the reason for my email to you Vincent is iv been informed by my friend
from Waterville that out of the 39 brown
tags that were raffled only 14 of them have been on Currane fishing, where are
the other 25 tags, it’s a disgrace , who came up with the idea of the brown
tags, he can hang his or hers head in shame, 11 days to go and 25 tags not seen
or used on Currane, shameful and a total lack of respect to the local anglers
that never got tags, plus I believe 5 local anglers only got hand me down tags,
a total insult to those fishermen ,out there all their lives , shame on you IfI
,shame on you, Martin
