caught a cracker of a lightening fresh 13 lbs. Salmon and as you can see the
picture tells today’s story. Now we stay in the fly department and its great to
report Lough Currane has another first to add to its history so its congratulations
to local Currane fly angler Mr. Owen Moriarty who caught his first 11lbs.
Salmon on the fly, may it be the first of many and as you can see the celebrations
of the first of many was in the Villa. Wind light WSW veered West and veered again
later in the afternoon into the NW. Amount of rainfall yesterday was 8.4 mm. Just
for the record Currane Fly Angler Mr. Tommy Duggan was fishing out of the Crescent
Bed and Breakfast and at www.thecrescentwaterville.ie
