 June 5, 2025. The day began early on the Commeragh River, with the first angling efforts commencing just before 6 a.m. As of this report, there have been no confirmed catches or releases from the Commeragh. Turning to Currane, anglers experienced some success: one notable catch-and-release of an 8 lbs salmon on the fly was recorded, along with two grilse taken while trolling. Additionally, several sea trout were caught on the fly. On the C&R River Inny, two anglers were observed fishing; however, no results have been reported.         

Regarding weather conditions on Currane and Inny, the wind was moderate from the west, accompanied by substantial cloud cover and occasional misty rain throughout the morning. For reference, yesterday’s weather included 9.1 mm of rainfall, a maximum air temperature of 17.7°C, and four minutes of sunshine.
