7/4/17 My Noble anglers didn’t  let their fingers do the talking at the end of the day, so I had to Google their performances and low and behold I got the answer within 2 seconds and the answer was they failed miserably in their duties in all departments and with a nice breeze from the South, plus there were six boats manipulating, one would have thought they would have procured a Wild Atlantic Salmon, admittedly they had one excuse and that was there was bright sunshine all day.

 6/4/17 Lough Currane was on the bright side, even though there was nice water coming down the Mouth of the Commeragh, sadly my Noble fly anglers couldn’t entice a wild Atlantic Salmon to the fly so on that disappointing note we will head for the trolling department where I can say there was some action and all headlines go to local Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley fishing on his own, caught a cracker of a 10 lbs. Salmon while manipulating his lures and as I always say a picture always tells a story. Maximum air temperature yesterday 11.1c. Amount of rainfall 0.0.

5/4/17 All the action comes from the Bungalow and the hired out department of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Thorsten from Germany, caught a fine 9lbs ½ lbs. Salmon on the troll and as you can see by the picture there wasn’t much wind out on the lake and what wind was there was coming from the North, light and overcast. Now for the rest of the angling news, there were 7 boats out and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know the rest of the anglers made no comment and why you ask yourself, well its simple they failed miserably in their duties.

4/4/17 Wlld yesterday and calm today and I will put it in a nutshell, my Noble Anglers failed miserably in their duties in all departments. Wind NE light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover. Amount of rainfall yesterday 21mm.

  3/4/17 Lough Currane was at a standstill with a strong SW wind, but I say that with a stutter because one boat did venture out and I presume headed for the Mouth of the Commeragh for a bit of fly action, but all I can report there was plenty of casts but no takers and in the words of the Gillie in question, Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com No good and a bit rough and I was the only boat out and that sums up today’s action. Wind as already stated and overcast with heavy rain at times and made a flood. Amount of rainfall yesterday, 0.1mm Maximum air temperature 11.7c. Just to let you know there is good news on sponsorship department, Inland Fisheries Ireland announces sponsorship for Kerry angling initiatives.

2/4/17 Straight to the Action and the trolling department, First thing this morning Mr. Peter Murphy, caught a fine 9 lbs. Salmon, while fishing with is Gillie, now we head for the afternoon session, German Angler and no stranger to the Waterville Fishery. Mr. Peter Rall caught a fine 9lbs. Salmon on the troll with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley.
Wind SW with good cloud cover. Yesterdays rainfall 0.1mm. Maximum air temperature 11.6c.

1/4/17 As we all know today was April Fools day and my Noble Anglers take the Lough Currane Wild Atlantic Salmon April Fools plaque with honours! Need I say more! Wind North and gusty with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall yesterday 5.2mm. Maximum air temperature 12.6c. Just for the record there were 9 boats  manipulating.
