7/9/2026. Three Currane boats ventured out today, and while the lake kept its secrets, the Inny was livelier. The Inny Farmer reported a good few C&R anglers working the river, though I didn’t hear of any Salmon being officially caught and released. That said, you can take it for granted that the odd fish was quietly C&R, the Inny rarely lets a crowd go home entirely empty‑handed. Now for today’s Currane anglers’ weather chart, a Fresh WSW wind dominated before veering NW late this afternoon. Yesterday’s weather, rainfall 5.6mm, maximum air temperature 19.2°C, and a grand total of 0.1 minute of sunshine, hardly enough to tan a mackerel
