The Currane anglers were all quiet in all departments, but as I always say,
that doesn’t mean there weren’t a few Noble catch‑and‑releases sneaking about
like poachers in the fog. Today’s weather, a fresh SW wind veering WSW, heavy
cloud parked overhead, and misty rain drifting in just enough to make you
wonder if the lake was trying to join in the fishing. Yesterday’s stats,
rainfall 0.2mm, max air temp 16.5°C, and sunshine 0.7 minutes, which is
technically a “sunny spell,” though you’d need a stopwatch and a bit of luck to
witness it.
