15/9/13
I start with a backdate and a apology to Mr. Mike Teahan of Waterville. Who caught a fine 5 lbs Salmon on the River Inny on the 13/9/13 on the Garden worm and I can tell you, Mike gave me a verbal diplomatic thrashing for my bad reporting, all I can say is I stand corrected. Staying with Mr. Mike Teahan, known as the Matador of the Bull Ring Tralee, caught another 5 lbs Salmon today on the River Inny on the garden worm. Now we cut across the Valley to a Rough Lough Currane, a few boats did venture out and the only boat to report their catches was Mr. Michael Smith and his son Sean, they caught 3 Sea Trout, and Michael was telling me that his son Sean got into a Salmon but alas my Noble Salmon won the day, as always they were fishing with their Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind NW strong and overcast with heavy showers.
