Lough Currane was on the wild side, but this didn’t deter Anglers producing my Noble Game fish, In the Salmon department Lough Currane got another 1st and that honour goes to Mr. Leslie Sheil of Dublin who caught his first ever Salmon and may it be the first of many, Leslie and his son Alan were fishing with their Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and @ and staying with the Grilse/Salmon department French Angler, Mr. Judge  Jean-Baptiste fishing out of caught a 6lbs Grilse, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Snr, now to the Sea Trout department, Mr. Terence Wharton junior caught 6 Sea Trout all in the 1.5lbs class, and last but not least, Mr. Mr. Phil Staniforth caught 2 Juniors on the fly with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy. Wind SSE fresh to strong and overcast with light rain at times.
