12/6/14

Frank and JoJo
12/6/14 Lough Currane went up and down with an almighty explosion in the trolling department today, and for good reason, Mr. JoJo Daly of Abbeydorney, Tralee, caught a cracker of a Salmon in the 22 lbs. class. His gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com was telling me that he took like a Grilse, but once my Noble Gentlemen, saw the boat there was one hell of an explosion and the battle was on, at one point they had to chase the fish because of the fear of running out of line, all I can say is, it wasn’t long before my Noble Salmon was running out of strength and that includes my Noble Captor. Now to Franks Hired out Boat department
Tony

JoJo's hosts Frank and Ann
, Fran, caught 2 Sea Trout on the drift, ranging from 1 ½ lbs up to 2 lbs and yesterday 11/6/14 he caught and released a Sea Trout in the 5 lbs Class. Staying with Franks hired out boat Department, Mr. Phil McCarthy and Joe Cahill caught two Sea Trout ranging from 1 ½ lbs up to 2 ½ lbs all caught on the fly. Now we cut across the lake to calmer waters, on the North side, Mr. Tony Church, caught a fine 3 lbs Sea Trout, on the drift. Now head up the shoreline to Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com German angler, Mr. Paul Dieter caught  a fine 10 ½ lbs Salmon on the drift, late this evening. Wind SW light to fresh and sunny all day. Now for quote of the day from Mr. JoJo Daly, I can tell you one thing I was told that Frankie is the best gillie on the Waterville system and now I can see why.
