24/6/14 Bright sunshine, and a light westerly wind, considering the conditions Lough Currane is producing some good fishing. First in the striking zone was Mr. Michael Clifford of the UK and Waterville, who caught a fine 4 lbs. Grilse on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com Now we head for the fly department, Mr. Michael Fish of the UK and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com caught a fine 5 lbs. Grilse on the fly, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Mike Dwyer. Now we head for the evening shift, in the fly department, Luxemburg Angler Mr. Amlung Bob fishing out of www.lakelandshouse.com and fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com  caught a Grilse in the 5 lbs class on the fly and in the trolling department Mr. Jim Sayers of Waterville caught a lightening fresh 5 lbs. Grilse. Just for the record all the Grilse that were caught were just in, give or take 24 hours.
