26/8/15 Lough Currane was on the quiet side in all departments going by the iphone, even there were a few Juniors caught on the fly, but you can say with out any fear of contradiction in the overall angling community they failed miserably in their duties, in their manipulation of their flies selection and presentation and their choice of drift and last but not least they failed to let their fingers do the talking at the end of their day and all I can say is, iphone or not I have spoken and just for the record I failed miserably my self, so who the hell am I to criticize. Wind WNW and veered WSW and overcast with showers.
The 2015 ‘Currane Championship’ Waterville’s Sea Trout Catch and Release Fly-fishing Competition, organised this year by The Waterville Lakes & Rivers Trust, will be held on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September. The entry fee has been reduced this year to €150 including
