This evening Mr. Neil O’Shea with his good wife Patsy and all the O’Shea family headed for the Jolly Swagman, Waterville and Mr. Neil O’Shea was presented with the Paddy Carey Memorial Cup by the Landlord of the Jolly Swagman Mr. Damian Duff and fair play to Local Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea because he has made History today by catching the first Salmon on the Waterville Fishery and the first Salmon to be caught in the whole of Ireland in 2016 which his record for the Waterville fishery which can’t be broken, it can only be repeated.

18/1/16 Breaking News, the First Salmon caught on the troll and the first caught in the whole of Ireland in 2016 was caught by renowned Local Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of
www.oshealoughcurrane.com his Salmon weighed in at 10 lbs. and as one local man said that’s great news for the Waterville Fishery and what makes it more special, it’s the first in Ireland. Weather conditions overcast and calm.
