13/8/21 There was a few Trout caught by the Currane drifters today. Now we head for the C&R Inny, five caught, four on the fly and one on the spin.

 

                      Francie RIP

It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of local mechanic Mr. Francie O’Shea RIP, of The Garage Waterville and Cahersiveen and I can say without any fear of contradiction, Francie will be sadly missed by the Currane Anglers and for good reason. Francie kept their outboard motors in good nick over the years and had a great interest in the Salmon and Sea Trout Fishing which is not surprising because his Father Jack O’Shea RIP was a great Gillie and Fishery Officer so you can say Francie was well into fishing when growing up in Waterville. So, on behalf of the Currane anglers and all the Good People of Waterville and Cahersiveen and all of Kerry we send our Sincere Sympathies to his wife Agnes, son & daughters Elaine, Brian, Áine & Triona, brothers Timothy & Kevin, sister Annmarie, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours & friends.
