13/7/2023 There was some good action in the Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout department today, so straight to the action, Clients trolling with their gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com caught a fine Grilse/Salmon and finished their day off with two Trout. Staying in the Grilse/ Salmon department, another boat fishing on their own also caught a Grilse on the troll. Now we head for the drifting department, Currane Sea Trout Anglers while fly fishing on the drift on the Southside in and around Coffees Bay C&R 6 Juniors and followed that up with 12 Brown Trout. Now to the weather front, as we all know we had a good flood a few day’s ago, well, Kerry is on a yellow rain warning from 2am until 7pm tomorrow, the amount of rainfall for Waterville is 15.5 mm? Toady’s wind SW light followed by good cloud cover and followed by light rain at times.
