14/7/2023 We head straight back to yesterday’s notes because it was brought to my attention by text today by local Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com  and I quote, Hi Vincent who is giving you misleading information, Phil Hawker had 3 sea trout 2/3 lbs and 1 salmon on the fly with me Frank. So that puts yesterday’s notes corrected. Now today’s action. We start on the Northshore and at watervilleboats@gmail.com Currane angler Mr. Bob white caught a fine 5 ½ lb Grilse on the troll and finished his day off with 4 juniors, 1 on the fly while fishing with Waterville Boats and his gillie at watervilleboats@gmail.com. Now we stay on the Northshore and go up to the Bungalow, Currane anglers Mr. John Burton and Mr. Mike Murphy from Co Clare, caught 7 Sea Trout while flyfishing with their Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com  Wind NE veered N veered again NW followed by good cloud cover, on the Yellow rain warning yesterday no comment as of yet, will give the full facts tomorrow.
