23/7/2023 The
Currane anglers were all quiet on all fronts this day which isn’t surprising after
yesterday reasonable flood, so you can be sure a good few headed up to the River
Inny with their C&R Salmon rods. If I were a Fishery officer, I would have
to say the Inny C&R anglers have the right to remain silent and my God they
certainly do, not like the good old days as you can see by the picture. Wind from
the West to the NE light followed by good cloud cover, amount of rainfall
yesterday 13.5 mm.
No Hiding in the good Inny old days |
Now head for
the Wild Atlantic Salmon and Sea Trout Anglers view so the sage is yours Mr.
Daniel Brosnan, How is gods name was a fish farm allowed to be built right in
front of Europe's best sea trout fishery! This has to be the worst planning and
environmental decision ever made in this country! I have alot on but I am 100%
gonna look into this in great detail! The environmental politician in charge at
that time needs to be looked at! The planning needs to be looked at and then it
needs to shown for what it is. Maybe the worst decision made by a government
and a community to allow a salmon farm to be built in the estuary of the
greatest sea trout fishery in Europe! In fairness to Gavin Quilligan he is
right worms are the least of your problems! I know two employees who worked in
this salmon farm and both left at the absolute disgraceful behaviour that
happens on this fish farm!
