29/7/2023 Straight to the Currane drifters, a few Sea Tout and Brown Trout were caught and released. Now we head down stream to the World famous Butler Pool and at www.watervillegolflinks.ie US Currane angler Mr. Chip Parkhurst from the State of Ohio takes all the Salmon headlines on the Currane system and for good reason, while fly fishing caught a fine Grilse. Now we head for the C&R River Inny, it was reported to me by the Inny Farmer that there were 3 Salmon caught on the fly. Wind W fresh followed by the odd shower.
