30/7/2023 Lough Currane was on the wild side with a fresh to strong SW wind blowing and only two boats reported that their lines were slack, so on that negative note we head downstream to the world famous Butler Pool and www.watervillegolflinks.ie  Currane US angler from New York, while fly fishing, caught a fine Grilse for the frying pan and I can tell you the Wild Atlantic skin of the Salmon slightly crispy is delicious and you may think I’m joking, watch the grizzly strip the Wild Salmon skin and eat it, there’s a lot of goodness in the Wild Salmon Skin. Just for the record I’m talking of Wild Salmon, So don’t argue with Grizzly. Wind already stated and overcast all day and light misty rain.
