All quiet on the SW front on lough Currane. This evening Dr. Willie Roche of http://www.cfb.ie/ gave a presentation on the Celtic Seatrout, at the Waterville Inn which I might add was very educational and to learn more go to http://www.celticseatrout.com/ and just for the record from right to left, Fishery Manger Mr. Trevor Stafford, Dr. Willie Roche, Mr. Neil O'Shea, Mr. Kevin O'Sullivan.

Lough Currane was at a stand still thanks to a strong SE wind blowing across the Lake, even though one or two boats did venture out first thing this morning, it wasn't long be for they headed for the shore line.

It was a wild day on Lough Currane with a strong NNW wind blowing with violent gusts, followed by a mixture of rain hale sleet and snow.
