6/6/19 Straight to the C&R ST Index. Currane angler, Mr. Yanick Labere of France C&R a fine 3 lbs. Sea Trout on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind NNW light to fresh and sunny with some cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 13.6 c.

5/6/19 Today was a special day and a historic day in Ireland and I can assure its not false news and yes the President of the Untied States of America arrived in Ireland, what has that got to do with Lough Currane, well I will let Currane angler have his say on today’s action and I quote, I’m Craig Crossley from Orlando Florida, I came over to Ireland to escape President Trump and he followed me over to the Emerald Isle and as luck would have it I went out fishing with my guide and caught a great 4 lbs. Salmon on the troll which totally made my day and tonight I and Family had a great Salmon feast and I have to say my Guide worked hard to get that Salmon and after that great feed I and my Family of six hill walkers will be ready for making our way back to Killarney tomorrow and again thanks to the Waterville Fishery for supporting my Family at the Dinner table this evening. Staying in the Salmon department, Currane Angler Mr. Patrick’s Labere of France caught a fine 5 ½ lbs. Salmon on the troll with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind NNE light showers this morning and bright and sunny this afternoon. Yesterdays weather amount of rainfall 1,8 mm. Maximum air temperature 13.4 c.

4/6/19 All the Salmon News headlines comes from the hired out boat department of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com Currane Angler, Mr. Charlie Clifton of Dublin and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com caught a fine 5 lbs. Grilse on the troll and for the rest of the Currane anglers their reels and phones were all quiet on all fronts. Wind North light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover and followed by the odd shower. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 3. 0 mm. Maximum air temperature 13. 9 c.

3/6/19 The Lough Currane anglers rods, reels, flies and lures were all quiet on the SW front on this Bank Holiday Monday. Talking of the SW, that’s exactly where the wind was coming from, overcast with showers at times. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 14.8 c.

2/6/19 It was a wild day with a strong SW wind blowing plus heavy showers but this didn’t deter the Currane anglers from venturing out, sadly there were no takers this Sunday Bank Holiday weekend. Yesterdays weather. Amount of rainfall 13.8 mm. Maximum air temperature 15.9 c.

1/6/19 Straight to the Salmon department, a Currane angler fishing on his own caught a fine 9 lbs. Salmon on the troll and on that note we will head for the C&R ST Index. C&R Sea Trout Currane angler, Mr. William Christie from Scotland was in good form with his fly rod today, while fly fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught  two Sea Trout ranging from 2 ½ lbs. Up to 3 ½ lbs. and as you can see by the pictures by www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com and for the rest of the Currane Anglers it was all quiet on the SW front. Wind S light and overcast. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 15.2 c.
