 All quiet on all fronts, News just in Mr. Ken Towner of the UK and Waterville was at it again with his fly rod at the Ledge when he caught a 8.5lbs Salmon with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan and of www.vincentsfishing.com Amount of rainfall 0.1mm max air temperature 15.2c.

There were a few boats manipulating their Flies and Rapala’s, but alas they all failed miserably in their duties.

Not a lot to be said on the Salmon front, but to be fair to we Anglers, Lough Currane is on the low side and because of this my Noble Gentlemen the Salmon is in a rather lethargic mood, and to all you Trout Anglers the Duck fly is on the move and I don’t think it will be long before the first Specimen Sea Trout is caught? Wind NW light with reasonable cloud cover.

Not a lot to report and that is not surprising because we had the same dose of weather as we had yesterday, so we will head out to Sea, With Mr Ivor O’Connor and Mr. Kevin Brain for a bit of Kayak Bass fishing and sadly thy didn’t do much better out in Ballinskelligs Bay but it’s a good crack to learn more go to www.kbfishingireland.com
