30/4/11
Renowned Trout Angler Mr Charlie Stuart was in good form again while drifting by the Grey Rock, when my Noble salmon took Charlie’s favourite fly the Bumble, and I believe in the lobster Bar last night he was told by a renowned Gillie that he wont repeat that for a long time, well I can tell you Charlie was one happy Angler with his second 7lbs plus Salmon in less than 24 hours. Wind SE then Veered S light with bright sunshine throughout the day.

There was fine 3lbs Sea Trout caught on the Fly by a guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan of www.vincentsfishing.com but fish of the day goes to Mr. Charlie Stuart of www.anglersview.com who caught his first ever Salmon on a Bumble, on a drift going down towards the reeds in the Mouth of the Commeragh, and Charlie was telling me that it has taken him 41 years to catch his first ever Noble Salmon, but to be fair to Charlie he is a renowned Trout fisherman, and just for the record you will be able to see all the action on Charlie’s 7lbs 12ozs Salmon, on www.youtube.com/anglersview because its all caught on HD video and you will be able view it next week, and just for the record Charlie and his TV crew were fishing in a hired out boat from www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind E first thing this morning then veered into the SW light with bright sunshine.

Breaking news go down to the 23/4/11
No reports of any real rod benders, and with bright sunshine all day what do you expect, even though there was a nice light SW wind blowing at times, but alas my Noble gentlemen the Salmon thought otherwise.
