Lough Currane was like blazing saddles, with the sun blazing down on this Bank holiday weekend, plus there was a NE wind blowing down the Lake, which didn’t make for good fishing, but with all that, here are the names of the reported successful Anglers. A guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Junior Scully caught a 3lbs Sea Trout , also in good form was Mr. Morris Cahill and Mr. Martin Cronin, who caught 2 Sea Trout in the 2lbs class, with their Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly and of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. Michael Smith and his Son Sean fishing with their Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea, caught 1 Sea Trout in the 2 lbs Class. And staying with Mr. Neil O’Shea and www.oshealoughcurrane.com in their hired out Boat department, German Angler caught 6 Sea Trout which were put back. There were a few more boats out, but no reports of any real rod benders. Wind as already stated, max air temperature 19.5c
