21/3/17 Waterville Angler Mr. Liam Ellis takes all the headlines in the Salmon department, while trolling caught a lightening fresh 9 lbs. Salmon on the troll and for the other 3 boats they watched with envy as their day drew a blank. Now to the weather and it was cold out there today with a light NW and overcast with showers and as you can see by the picture there is snow on the mountain. Amount of rainfall yesterday 7.0 mm. Maximum air temperature 11.2c. Minimum 3.5c. Just for the record Local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com took the photo and as you can see he’s as good with the iPad as he is with the fly.
