19/3/17 There were 5 boats manipulating the Lough Currane waters and sadly my noble anglers couldn’t stimulate the wild Atlantic Salmon, so on that note we will head downstream to the World Famous Butler Pool of www.watervillegolflinks.ie where there was some mighty stimulation in Mr. Liam Higgins fly rod and for good reason, while fishing the pool he caught a cracker of a 13 lbs. Salmon and as his Son-in-law Local Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy netted Liam’s fine Salmon he said to Dominic, as you know I’m a pro Golfer and now I can say I’m now on top of the Waterville Pro fly league for 2017.
