8/5/17 It was blazing saddles day and one can say without any fear of contradiction it was no wilder day, with a light wind from the NW and the sun blazing down on Lough Currane and as you can see from the poached picture, courtesy of
http://thecrescentwaterville.ie/ it tells the story. At least my Noble Anglers have genuine excuse for their failures. Just for the record there were four boats out manipulating their suntan! Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.1c.
