October 10, 2025. Once again, the higher lakes—such as Lake Cloonaghlin—offered good fishing today for catch-and-release sea trout and brown trout, though unfortunately, no details on their sizes were reported. Moving downstream, Currane anglers noted that some nice brown trout were caught while drifting. As for today's weather, winds began light from the northeast and shifted through east, southeast, south-southeast, southwest, west, and then west-northwest, accompanied by decent cloud cover. Yesterday saw no rainfall, a maximum air temperature of 13.6°C, and just one minute of sunshine.
