On October 11, 2025, Mr. Paul Leary headed straight to Lake Derriana, where he reported catching several Brown Trout while fly fishing (catch and release), as well as landing two C&R Sea Trout. The journey continued downstream to a calm and very quiet Lough Currane. As for today's weather, winds were light and variable—shifting from ESE to SSE, S, SW, WSW, and W—with bright sunshine throughout the day. Yesterday saw no rainfall, a maximum air temperature of 13.1°C, and only one minute of recorded sunshine.
