1/7/15 The first day of July brought very little action in the fly department and for good reason, Lough Currane was like a milk pond. But with the elements against the anglers, at least two Anglers kept the Lough Currane flag flying high and that was UK angler Mr. Greg Sutton and fishing out of  caught a lightening fresh 6 lbs. Salmon / Grilse on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of and a client fishing with his Gillie MD, caught a fine 4 ½ lbs. Salmon / Grilse. Just for the record there were about 10 boats out fishing and I come to the conclusion some anglers are not letting their fingers do the talking at the end of their day, all I can say is if I didn’t let my fingers do the talking you the readers wouldn’t be amused and there wouldn’t be any argument to that. Wind as already stated and overcast with heavy rain at times.
