Born Free
31/7/17 Mr. Carlos Gutierrez from Columbia was the toast of the Lough Currane C&R Salmon department today and for good reason, Carlos finished this last day of July with a bang and a cracker of a 18 ¼ lbs. Salmon caught on the troll and by all accounts Carlos had a good battle with his mighty 18 ¼ lbs. Salmon and his Father finished their day off with a fine C&R 3 lbs. Grilse and I can say without any fear of contradiction today’s anglers from Columbia and their Gillie Mr. Neil O‘Shea of went above and beyond their call of duty and did it in style and I can understand why, they call The Bungalow The Home of the Waterville Fishery. Wind W fresh with good cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 8mm. Maximum air temperature 16.5c.
