7/9/17
7/9/17 There were six boats manipulating on the Lough Currane waters this day and sadly their performance has a lot to be desired and its about time we anglers pulled our flies up and got our act together! On those words of wisdom, we will head for the comments department on the 6/9/17 a comment was made why wasn’t photos taken of the fish caught, well here is your answer from the C&R Angler. As any good angler knows Paul, the more time Sea Trout are out of the water less chance of survival, so they went straight back, I had no time for a photo, its easy take photos when you kill them. Vincent I cant under why you are getting so much stick on your Blog, your job is to report catches, not manage a fishery, your work is top class, photos brilliant and you tell the truth every day. Not inventing stories or insulting people. Fine honest reports. Keep up the honest work. Wind West fresh with good cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.6c.

5/9/17
5/9/17 There were just a few boats out and all failed miserably in their duties in all departments, so the least said the better, all I will say on the matter, a few lessons wouldn’t go a miss on the choice of flie and presentation and if you’re a learned lure angler, you can say a Toby or not Toby! Wind NW light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather amount of rainfall 2.8mm. Maximum air temperature 17.3

4/9/17 All the Sea Trout fly headlines come from the North side and Bungalow, Mr. Arnold Slater, while fly fishing with his gillie, Mr. Tom O’Shea and of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught and released a fine 1 ½ lbs. Sea Trout and for the rest of my Noble anglers all they could say was at the end of their day was, we failed miserably in our duties. Wind SW light to fresh. Now to the complaints department and thankfully it’s not me, but about comments made by other anglers and here is his comment that he sent via email. Hi Vincent could you please put my comment on your Blog, Can u tell regular angler and William Avery they only read what they want to see. Comments on the 2nd there liars. Local anglers hates liars, good day yesterday 1 salmon and 5 trout not saying where caught them. Who wants to educate fishermen who give up. ? Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 5.0 mm. Maximum air temperature 20 c.

1/9/17 Straight to the Sea Trout department, German angler Mr. Markus Kruse and his good friend and I might add, they are no strangers to the Waterville Fishery, while fly fishing in difficult conditions caught and released two nice Sea Trout on the flie ranging from 1 ½ up to 2 ½ lbs. Their quote of the day is, Good Anglers never Give Up! Now for the rest of the angling news, there isn’t any, for the simple reason the rest of my Noble anglers failed miserably in all departments. Wind flat calm this morning, come afternoon there was a nice breeze from the W with bright sunshine all day. Yesterdays weather. Amount of rainfall 1.0 mm. Maximum air temperature 16.8 c.
