 Laurence and Lukas
May it be the first of many visits to Ireland.
29/8/14 Lough Currane saw some good action in the Sea trout department. We start at the Bungalow and the trolling department, two young German Anglers, Master Lukas and Laurence  Muller, had their first taste of Game fishing when they caught 3 Sea trout ranging from Junior class up to 1 ¾ lbs. While fishing with their Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com Now to the fly department, Mr. Declan McKibben, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught 3 Trout on the drift and in Neil’s and Tom’s hired out boat department, the Co Mayo Westport Salmon and Sea Trout Blogers were in magnificent form in the fly department with 12 Sea Trout ranging from Junior Class up to 2 ½ lbs. Now we head down the North Shore, Mr. Andy Wishart and Mr. Gavin Wishart of Northern Ireland, caught 5 Trout on the fly, while fishing with their Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com Now we head across to the South Side and the hired out Boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. John Delap caught 4 Sea Trout on the drift and also in good form with the fly, was Mr. Bill Bullock with 6 Sea Trout, ranging from Junior class up to 2 ½ lbs. Staying with the Sea Trout, Mr. Mark Dorman caught 8 Sea Trout ranging from Junior Class up to 2 ½ lbs. While fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley. Wind NW then veered W fresh to strong and overcast with heavy showers.
